Monsanto secures approval to sell biotech soybeans in China

Chinese regulators have granted Monsanto Co. clearance to market soybeans cultivated from its Roundup Ready 2 Yield seed strains. The soybeans -- developed to resist the Roundup herbicide -- will be planted on up to 2 million acres for next spring's planting season as part of a limited release.
