Paul Polman to helm Unilever

Paul Polman, who has worked as a senior executive at CPG companies Procter & Gamble and Nestle, is taking over as CEO of Unilever, succeeding Patrick Cescau. Polman's appointment marks the first time in the 123-year history of the Anglo-Dutch firm that it has gone outside its ranks for its top executive spot.
