IMF's Lipsky says the world economy is recovering, but risks remain

The global economy is moving through a "moderate recovery," but a medium-term reduction of budget deficits is still a challenge, said John Lipsky, the International Monetary Fund's first managing director. "Obviously there are risks and challenges, but things seem to be moving more or less in line with our forecast," he said.
