Libyan oil company will resume production within 2 weeks

Libya is on schedule to restart oil production within two weeks, and exports are on track to begin through the Marsa al Hariga port within 10 days afterward, said Nouri Berouin, chairman of state-run National Oil. Production is expected to reach 1 million barrels a day within six months, he said. It could take 15 months for production to recover to the full 1.6 million barrels a day Libya pumped before the revolution, Berouin said.
