Private planes could become next weapon for terrorists, DHS says

General-aviation planes could pose a significant threat to U.S. security if they fall into the hands of terrorists, according to a bulletin issued last week by the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. The bulletin did not indicate whether a specific plan was in the works, but noted that the planes pose "a significant potential threat to the homeland." There are 228,000 general-aviation planes in the U.S.
