Ariz. festival aims to make science fun for students

The Arizona SciTech Festival this week incorporated science lessons from skateboarding, dance, photography and other subjects aimed at appealing to students. The event drew about 350 companies, education groups, nonprofits and arts organizations. Scores from a standardized test in 2012 indicated that Arizona students ranked among the lowest in the nation in science achievement.
