Clients need advisers' help in planning for death

Financial advisers should make themselves comfortable with the reality that they aren't just planning for their clients' lives, they are also planning for their deaths, writes Catherine Seeber, a principal and senior financial adviser with Wescott Financial Advisory Group. "If you can talk about the end of life while your clients are still healthy and understand their hopes and fears centered around illness and dying, you can make a significant contribution to their families," she notes.
