European Central Bank steady on rate but hints at further action

The European Central Bank left its key interest at 0.5% but indicated it is ready to step in with lower rates or additional funds if the eurozone's tentative recovery begins to fade. "If money market developments were to be judged unwarranted in their impact on our assessment of medium-term inflation, then such an instrument should be considered," said bank President Mario Draghi.
