FINRA imposes fewer fines worth $1M or more

Fines worth at least $1 million handed out by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority decreased significantly in the first half of this year compared with the first half of 2012. FINRA imposed two such fines this year, totaling $2.25 million, compared with seven last year.
