Achieving disruptive innovation can be made slightly easier if your company has unique capabilities or can hitch a ride on a new technological trend, Scott Anthony writes, but you'll still need luck and determination to conjure up a breakthrough. "Developing a breakthrough idea will never be a paint-by-numbers exercise. But this should not stop large corporations from redoubling their investments in breakthroughs," Anthony writes.
