Indiana, feds continue talks on Medicaid expansion

Indiana officials have left the door open to expanding the state's Medicaid program if the federal government will allow it to build off of its Healthy Indiana Plan model, which features consumer cost sharing, writes Sarah Kliff. The state currently has about 45,000 low-income residents enrolled in the HIP program, which is similar to a health savings account.
