Luxury, boutique hotels jump onto grocery-delivery trend

Grocery-delivery service, an amenity more common to the extended-stay segment, has entered the boutique and luxury lodging scene with a more upscale flavor. Guests at several Affinia Hotels properties can purchase a range of pre-packed meals, which include items such as butternut squash salsa, Greek yogurt and Bloody Mary mix. The trend comes as hotels turn to outsourcing to bolster declining food-and-beverage sales.
