Mayoral candidates would rather not get Bloomberg's endorsement

Michael R. Bloomberg has served as New York City's mayor for 12 years, but the people campaigning to take his place when his term ends aren't asking for his endorsement or a chance to be photographed by his side. Bill de Blasio, the front-runner in the Democratic primary, characterized support from Bloomberg as "a double-edged sword -- or worse."
