Mo. district leader credits project-based learning for improvements

Springfield, Mo., public schools Superintendent Norman Ridder is reporting improved reading and math achievement, as well as better behavior among students, since the district adopted a focus on project-based learning. "We've developed a learning model that pushes the students to focus on what we call the three Cs: collaboration, communication, and critical thinking," he said in this interview.
