Is natural gas the alt-fuel of the future?

Natural gas has plenty of supporters as an alternative vehicle fuel, with companies such as UPS and FedEx already using CNG trucks as part of their clean-fleet programs. Still, experts are skeptical about the potential for a consumer-level CNG revolution. The lack of refueling infrastructure makes natural gas unattractive to motorists, and some experts believe deeper emissions cuts can be garnered by making existing gasoline-based technologies more fuel-efficient.
