New aviation school fills void in S.C.

Jeremy Bass, the owner of the Myrtle Beach Academy of Aviation in South Carolina, which opened in January, says his school fills an obvious void in an area where aviation is plentiful, but flight training is not. "The airline industry, right now, is really hurting for pilots. In fact, aviation in general," said Bass, who hopes to tap into the international training market and get GI Bill aid for veterans.
