Pa. district scales back some meal changes

Under new federal regulations, school nutrition professionals in a Pennsylvania district say they saw a decline in the number of students eating school meals. Now, under revised standards, they are able to return to some of their traditional menus, which are more familiar to students. That includes shifting back to using regular mayonnaise, instead of low-fat, and there are plans to introduce whole-grain white bread later in the fall to make grilled-cheese sandwiches more appealing.
