Yahoo's new logo adds classical elements to old design

Yahoo has unveiled its new logo, ending an 18-year run for its previous logo with a design not among the 30 teased during a monthlong rebranding campaign. The new logo was designed in-house and uses a proprietary, classical font, but retains the purple and differing letter sizes with an animated exclamation point. "This represents a significant evolution of the logo," said Yahoo Chief Marketing Officer Kathy Savitt.
