NAS issues new nutritional guidelines

A National Academy of Sciences report calls on Americans to exercise an hour a day, increase fiber intake and cut back on foods that contain sugar. The new guidelines also included recommendations for daily consumption of carbohydrates -- a decision nutritionists say will play a role in the debate over a low-carbohydrate diet versus a high-carbohydrate diet.
