Katrina threatens worker status of non-citizens

Many foreign workers on guest-worker visas, as well as those who are undocumented, in the Gulf Coast region are worried they will be stranded in the U.S. without a source of income. They also fear being rounded up by immigration authorities now that their jobs have washed away.
