How to train teachers to use interactive whiteboards

A Canadian teacher says she relied on training and her own students to help her learn to use a new interactive whiteboard effectively. "The teachers who have the best success with technology seem to be the ones who are able to sit down and learn with kids," one educator said. "It's a change in thinking, it's not an age thing." Educators say that interactive whiteboards -- when used effectively -- can improve teaching and learning. However, teachers must be trained.
