Gardening has become a year-round affair, so it is important to keep tools in working order, writes Chase Zacha. Walk-behind mowers should be stored in a dry place when not in use and blades should be brushed down after mowing. The mower's air filter, oil and spark plugs also must be checked and changed regularly.
