Jobless rate drops slightly for workers with disabilities

Unemployment among individuals with disabilities fell slightly in August, despite remaining at a standstill for workers without disabilities, the latest data find. The disability unemployment rate now stands at 16.1% -- down from a record-tying high of 16.9% in June -- compared with the August rate of 9.1% for the population overall.
