Mobile mapping and malaria

Village malaria workers in Cambodia are now able to identify malaria cases more quickly and respond more effectively under a new program under which they are given special training, as well as a bicycle, a pair of boots, a bag, a flashlight, a cooler box for medicines, a small travel allowance and, most importantly, mobile phones -- which allows them to map malaria cases in real time.
