RIM investor Jaguar pushes for "transformational" change

Research In Motion should sell either the company or its patent portfolio, asserts the head of Jaguar Financial, a small activist investor who urged the BlackBerry maker to form an independent panel to study the matter. Meanwhile, Canaccord analyst T. Michael Walkley says RIM's new BlackBerry 7-powered phones have won extensive corporate support, though individual consumers have balked. Also at RIM, the company has upgraded its application store to BlackBerry App World 3.0 in hopes that it will entice consumers to buy more apps and will draw developers to the platform.
