Study finds link between NSAIDs and miscarriage risk

A study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal of 52,000 women found those who used common painkillers such as ibuprofen and naproxen in early pregnancy were more than twice as likely to suffer a miscarriage as those who did not use the drugs. Experts said that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may affect in prostaglandin production in early pregnancy.
