Teacher studies the effect of iPads on student achievement

Ohio English teacher James Harmon says state testing data show that students who used iPads in the classroom improved their chances of passing reading and writing tests than peers who did not use the technology. Teachers, including Harmon, say the devices help engage students in learning and the game-like applications can be used to reinforce academic lessons.
