Some U.S. swaps-dealer clients may face an interruption in their ability to trade as dealers struggle to gather required client information and issue disclosures, Lukas Becker writes. The difficulties in meeting the rules imposed by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission come despite an extended deadline from the agency. Proving particularly problematic in the adjustment is the external-business-conduct regime for swaps dealers.
