CMIT Solutions targets vets in Northern Va.

IT service franchise CMIT Solutions, which recently announced it will open its fifth location in Northern Virginia, likes the area because of its population of retired military personnel. The company, which has 130 locations nationwide, is interested in hiring veterans, who currently make up four out of its five franchisees in Northern Virginia, said Sheri Vandermause, the company's vice president of franchise development. "We like to have veterans. They work hard. They're professional, and they represent our brand really well," she said.
