Data support use of continuous blood glucose monitoring systems

Study data presented at a critical care conference in South Africa showed GlySure's continuous blood glucose monitoring systems may reduce the need for blood-sampling and provide earlier warnings of hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic events in ICU patients. Company data shows blood glucose concentrations provided by the system were similar to those found with traditional blood draws in ICU surgery patients.
