Entrepreneur's auction company enters the Chinese market

Eighteen years ago, Deb Weidenhamer was inspired to enter the auction industry by a conversation she had with a fellow passenger on a flight. Her business, called Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers, now has more than 200 employees and generates more than $100 million a year in revenue. Weidenhamer is working hard to develop her Mandarin language skills and is seeking business opportunities in China.
