Study: Lower-calorie diet improves liver fat, insulin sensitivity in obese

Adopting a hypocaloric diet resulted in improved liver fat levels and metabolism among overweight and obese participants at two years, German researchers reported. They noted better liver function, hepatic insulin resistance and whole-body insulin sensitivity in patients despite regained weight.
