Subway has teamed with Nolcha Fashion Week, the part of New York Fashion Week dedicated to independent designers, to create a show featuring fashions made from materials found at the chain. Next week's Subway Project Show will include fashions from four designers created from napkins, sandwich bags, gift cards and other Subway-branded items. "While folks might not readily equate Footlongs and fashion, there are some similarities between the two. Both allow for individualized customization and creativity," said marketing chief Tony Pace.
