White House proposes streamlined health-care reporting rules

The Obama Administration has released proposed changes aimed at making the employer reporting requirements of the Affordable Care Act less burdensome on businesses when they take effect on Jan. 1, 2015. Business groups worried about the increased reporting requirements applauded the effort to find a compromise. "Retailers are not interested in being overly burdened by bureaucratic red tape or time-wasting, duplicative reporting requirements," said Neil Trautwein, NRF's top health policy official.
