Sugarcane waste product useful for biodegradable packaging

The Biodegradable Packaging for Environment has introduced new "bagasse boxes," which are made from a waste product from agricultural sugarcane, meaning they are biodegradable. Cadbury is using bagasse, which is designed as a more environmentally friendly alternative to plastic packaging.
