Corps and Trinity Uptown sign construction agreement

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers signed an agreement with Trinity Uptown to begin building a flood-control and economic-development project for $576 million. The 1,800-acre development near Forth Worth, Texas, will include a bypass channel and lake to help control flooding, as well as restoration of damaged Trinity River ecosystems.
