India to use continuous evaluation to assess students

New assessments for secondary-school pupils in India are expected to replace a system that valued memorisation with one that focuses on the whole student. Students will be evaluated using class work, homework, oral questions and other means. Evaluations will consider academic achievement along with factors such as work experience, art education, general knowledge and computer science.
