Charter carrier may start Naples, Fla., service this year

Gulf Coast Airways, an on-demand charter airline, is waiting for final FAA approval of its application to offer commuter flight service out of the Naples, Fla. airport. The airline received commuter status from the DOT last month. The airport does not have TSA screening stations, and officials say it is not required to have a security counter. Service could start later this year, Gulf Coast Airways officials said.
