Children with autism use iPad as a communication aid

Some families of children with autism are using Apple's iPad to help their children communicate. One mother says her 5-year-old son has made improvements since learning to use the touch screen to scroll and tap on icons representing food or other items he is seeking. "He started to play more with his brother, he is more interactive with us," she said.
