Damaged N.D. well did not contaminate water supplies, officials say

Denbury Onshore's damaged oil well in North Dakota, which gushed more than 2,500 barrels of crude, had no impact on underground water supplies, according to the state's Health Department. The ruptured well near Killdeer City appears to be plugged and the oil cleaned up, said Dave Glatt, head of the department's environmental health unit.
