Global financial transparency eroded during the recession, JLL says

Transparency in real estate and capital markets has lessened during the recession, according to Jones Lang LaSalle. Governments around the globe had made steady progress this decade -- but it halted with the beginning of the credit crunch. JLL estimates transparency improvements have halved, with the worst setbacks experienced in Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Pakistan and Venezuela.
