H1N1 pandemic flu virus is no more serious than seasonal strains

Researchers who reviewed hospital records of 6,874 people found that the H1N1 pandemic flu virus was not more deadly than the seasonal H1N1 or H3N2 flu strains. "Even though it was a mild virus, we didn't have immunity, so that made it somewhat unpredictable," an influenza expert said.
