Laptop program helps close digital divide in Virginia district

Each middle- and high-school student -- as well as their teachers -- receives a laptop in Virginia's Henrico County, and educators say the decade-old program has helped close the digital divide among students. It is unclear whether the initiative has improved students' scores on state tests, but officials say the goal was to give students more access to technology.
