Research touts benefits of milk after exercise

Research is finding that milk is an excellent recovery drink after exercise because it contains casein and whey, proteins that help rebuild damaged muscles. In one study, athletes who drank milk after intense exercise were able to exercise longer in their next workouts, compared with those who drank water or sports drinks.
