Support for NASA mission to asteroid picks up momentum

Support is growing for NASA's plan to make its next human flight mission a trip to a near-Earth asteroid, instead of the moon. An asteroid has appeal because it will allow NASA to test much of the technology that could ultimately be used on a flight to Mars.
