All dogs benefit from obedience training, veterinarian says

All dogs can use some form of obedience training, which provides understanding of basic commands and helps foster the relationship between pet and owner, says Texas A&M veterinarian Stacy Eckman. Puppy classes are available, and it's much easier to start when dogs are young and train them the right way than to go back later and re-train them, she says.
