Panel: Houston needs more workers to maintain petchem surge

Houston's surging petrochemical industry is in need of workers for skilled and technical positions, according to a conference panel of industry experts. "We have companies that want to build, but if they can't find the workers, that may be a deal breaker, and we don't want that to happen," said Texas Chemical Council President and CEO Hector Rivero. Officials from ExxonMobil Chemical, Shell Oil and LyondellBasell were part of the panel.
