San Francisco's old Federal Reserve may go hotel, condo

The owners of San Francisco's landmark Federal Reserve office building are considering plans to convert the building into a luxury hotel and condominium complex, inside sources said. Landlord Boston Properties is expected to recruit Singapore-based luxury lodging chain Raffles Hotels & Resorts to operate the hotel portion of the property, which would include 80 suites, and a local developer would guide the conversion.
