Study: Early and regular preschool prepares kids for kindergarten

According to a new University of California study, children who attend preschool early and regularly are about four months ahead in reading and math skills than those who don't. Although all students gained from attending preschool, researchers found the benefits were most dramatic for minority and low-income children.
