Diet and exercise prevent memory loss, doctors say

As people live longer, keeping active and eating a nutritious, fish-rich diet is increasingly important for maintaining heart health and may also help stem memory loss, leading neuroscientists said. Seven areas, including diet and exercise, are key to maintaining mental acuity, according to Professor Ian Robertson, director of the Institute of Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin.
